Plain English, because that is how we do business. This store is operated by Nelmatt Pty Ltd trading as Rustic Touch Creations, Gresford NSW.

Ordering

When you place an order, you are agreeing to the price shown and the details you have given us. For custom work, the details you supply - spelling, names, dates, sizes - are what we cut. Please check them carefully.

Custom orders and deposits

Custom work starts with a deposit. That deposit covers the design and drafting time, and it is not refundable once we have started drawing.

We will send you a mock-up before anything is cut. Once you approve that mock-up, that is what gets made. If you want changes after approval, we will do our best, but there may be an additional charge depending on how far along we are.

The balance falls due when the piece is finished. We will send you a photo of it before it ships or you collect it.

Photos and artwork you send us

If you send us a photo to work from, you are confirming you have the right to use it. Please do not send us copyrighted logos, badges or images you do not own the rights to - we would rather turn the job down than land either of us in strife.

The artwork files we create remain ours. If you would like a copy of the digital artwork for your own use, ask us and we will talk about it.

Our work

Corten steel is designed to rust - that is the finish, not a fault. It will keep weathering over time and will last decades outdoors. Painted pieces are undercoated in metal primer and top coated twice in metal shield. Every piece is made by hand, so small variations in finish and rust colour are normal and are part of the character of the work.

Once a piece is with you, how and where you install it is up to you, and we cannot be responsible for what the weather or the installation does to it after that. Steel art has edges and weight. Please install it safely and keep smaller pieces out of reach of young children.

Prices

All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in them limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
